My name is David Pounds, and for the last 38 years I've worked with wood and taught hundreds of students how to work with wood too! We make handmade solid red oak furniture. All of our furniture items have 3 coats of semi-gloss hand rubbed lacquer applied making it a great finish that you will love the feel and look.

Department store's would love to have our products (because of the quality), but you can only obtain our products online and they are made one at a time not in a factory. Nothing is imported here. We prefer to ship all items INSURED. Because most of our items are large we can ship them to you cheaper by UPS consequently we only offer UPS as our shipper. We have had less damage with this company than others that we have tried.

Return Policy: If you don't like it, if it arrives broken or unsuitable for use, if it's not as we described or you just want to return it, no problem. We'll take it back. You pay for the return postage if it is because you just changed your mind. If it is our mistake, we'll pay to get the item back here.
